What advice do you have for an aspiring chef?
Sam: Three words - loyalty, commitment and most importantly, sacrifice.
The reality is, having passion and being hardworking are just the basic requirements, they will not sustain you when you develop further in your career.
Many other elements make a successful chef, such as having the support of your family, the boss and customers, and even the media.
Eric: Attitude. You may have the talent but if you do not have the right attitude to carry that talent, then everything else is pointless.
Edward: You must be prepared to sacrifice, especially when you are young and just starting out. It's the best time - and you need a lot of that - to learn everything.
Cooking is serious business. If you've decided to take on the role, you must make it your responsibility.
