My attachment life !!

This week i started working at Raffles Hotel !! Outlet at Longbar Steakhouse !! haha ! At first i thought it was very boring working at there !! But i got wrong !! Super fun , tired and hell lots of work , service to do !!! Quite blur at first but i got to do and learn alots of things there and make many new friends !!! Super tiring !! HAHA !! But i enjoy myself !! Just now i was ask to go banquet dept to help out !! This was my first time helping to plate almost 300 plates !! Oh ya !!! I broke 1 bottle of wine and a plated dessert !! Haha !!! DAMN !!! haha !!! I learn to open up abt 400 oysters this week !!! A tiring week have past !!! Looking and moving forward !!! : D

Yo everybody !!! Its been hell long since I last blog !!! haha !!! I was away for my ASC (Asean Skills Competition) from the 11 to 19 nov !!! Haha . Enjoy myself alot over there , making new friends from all the asean countries !!! Have lots of fun , food and going to pub with our sir and mdm !!! Drink , dance and havoc !! haha. !! BTW the competition site SUCKS !!!! But we all still manage to complete in the 4 days of competition !! So bless to be in singapore !!! HAHA !! I will show you guys some of the pictures :

Tiring weekS with a "S" ! : D

This few week have been very tired !!! Even robot will break down !!! I have been training since ... So i got no time to update !! I will update soon , soon , soon !!! Yeah !! I am having fun in my life !! my life is just like a roller coaster ride !! Fun and pain , which everyone going through !! I just take it very positively !! Yeah !! So loser what are u guys waiting for !! haha . just kidding !!!
I will stop updating for a while preparing to update after Nov . Since i will be away in Nov from 11 - 20... Shhhh...

Tired weeks !!!! :D

Last week was fully used up for me.. !!! All training.. Training with Sie Sie and Brenda...!!! These 2 is so funny and cute!!! They are full of nonsense .. Hahaha.. And the kept calling me Xiao Di Di... I can't stand it man... !!! Fun at the pastry side !! hahah And also train in amber kitchen with Jim... Learn alot from them , need to sharpen my skills to prepare for the in-coming competition... Hope to bring something back !!!
This week also monday and tuesday went back for training also... When i see the WS training and prepare for their mock serving to the guess !!! Wahhh... Make me worry for myself also.. So tough and stress man !!!
Yesterday night went out for dinner with Frieda , Shie Ling , Samatha+ her cousin , Sin Wee and the juniors(they are funny people , funny people always go parties) consist of Ray , Kian An , Augustine and jonathan... And we went to Hogs Breaths... All of us seem to waste our money there... The food are CRAP !!! I spent $41 for a meal man !!! Hahaha....

YEAH !!! Our event was a great success... !! I believe we didn't expect things to turn our like this !!! Everything were smooth... 2 thumbs up for the whole team !!! The event just blown us away !!! Wednesday and Thursday !!!

On wed , went to school to see the tobasco competition selection for our school , in the end 3 groups were selected .!!! Good job dude. . . Although both group from my class was not being selected , but its okay guys you guys did your best !! All the best for the attachment !!! Did not load the picture but will load it here asap !! hahaha.. Then after that went to Jack's place for some bits !! Yeah !! home sweet home !!!

On thurs , some of my classmates , Frieda, Isk ,YongZheng , ShieLing , WanRong , Irah , Anthony , Joe ,Harun , YiPeng , Roy and me went to Sentosa .. :D We have great fun there !!! Roy day over there was censored !!! In the water (Censored) ..... When we sitting down , we saw (Censored)... Haha ..OoooosssHhhhh.... !!! haha.. Went for dinner at vivo, and slack for a few hours after that at the Top over Vivo !!!! Have alot of laughter and craps chatting over there !!! Hahaha.. !!! Joe know how to dance seh.. Haha.. Great fun and we went home .. Tired !!!!

Tobasco Hotchef Team Challenge 2008

Hey friends ! Tomorrow will be the selection of 2 team for the competition in our school.. I guess there is quite a few teams . My class send two team for the competition . ! Recently i receive emails from 25*Cdegree bookstore which only sell cookbooks !!! The email is regarding some rare and premium cookbooks , a few that i wish to buy it they email states that when they send the email , within 2 days some of the books is already sold out !! OMG ! So fast right !! For the next shipments , I hope i will have enough money to buy these 2 books !!!

Today !

Went out to cut hair , What took the barber so long , what took the barber so long .. ! haha.
Rush back home from bedok ! ! Ask mum to cook fried rice. ! I rush home to cook the japanese curry then pour it on the rice and top with mozarella cheese !!! Drooling right!? haha Bake it !! And that goes a wonderful curry baked rice !!! ArgHhhhh..... ! ! !

Below are some advices from chefs that i read from the newspaper !

What advice do you have for an aspiring chef?

Sam: Three words - loyalty, commitment and most importantly, sacrifice.

The reality is, having passion and being hardworking are just the basic requirements, they will not sustain you when you develop further in your career.

Many other elements make a successful chef, such as having the support of your family, the boss and customers, and even the media.

Eric: Attitude. You may have the talent but if you do not have the right attitude to carry that talent, then everything else is pointless.

Edward: You must be prepared to sacrifice, especially when you are young and just starting out. It's the best time - and you need a lot of that - to learn everything.

Cooking is serious business. If you've decided to take on the role, you must make it your responsibility.

YES ! Its all about hard work . For the past few months , had been having lots of training in sch for ASC . Training is tough , have been pushing myself hard , and really thanks some of the schoolmates and teachers in school . They are really my support !!! I never felt so at home in school till i meet those caring teachers in school which they will go the extra mile for us , I believe the class will agree with me . Not even in secondary school right !! haha . Back to training , super tough , need new ideas and do a lot of research , a few time i really drained out and tired for training , but i know i will be tougher if i go through it . I know i can . HAHA ! With all the helps from mainly Sir Edwin and Mdm Veron helping in cooking side and Mdm Sie Sie(Edwin call her BIGfoot for goodness sake! LOL!) and Mdm Brenda , they all are working hard for the training and there is absolute not a single excuse for to stop and rest !! Lets plow the land !! The finishing line for it is awesome !! At least I will say "I made it !" Even if WE never win anything , I know we have been through it and I am very proud of it ! Effort had put in and I know I have put in my best, I saying this from the bottom of my heart ! BUT ! BUT ! Hopefully we will win something back la!!!
